Well, we are excited because tomorrow Tim and I are off to Halifax, Nova Scotia! He has a business trip there and is able to take me along! When we heard about the trip we looked into staying in a "Bed and Breakfast" instead of a regular Hotel. So, here is "The Inn at Fisherman's Cove" in Halifax.

We will fly out of Fresno on Tuesday evening for an all-night flight to Nova Scotia. I have never been that far east before and I am really looking forward to learning about that part of Canada. The children will be on their own at home, with Grandpa and Grandma close by, and with Lizzie home from Peru now, she will help with homeschooling the little ones.
Here is a picture of the front of the "B&B" in Halifax. We are not planning to rent a car but will get everywhere by public transportation or on foot. A new adventure awaits!~

Our room will be the "Sand Dollar Room", on the 3rd floor. We will be at this place for 4 nights except for Thursday when we will be taken up to Wolfville to tour another area.

On Thursday we will be at "Victoria's Historic Inn" in Wolfville. We enjoyed seeing the lovely location at www.victoriashistoricinn.com.
I wonder what the breakfasts will be like? Yum!
It was fun to look on the website and see all the different rooms. Here is the room that has been reserved for us, room 27.

The man who is showing us around says the drive from Halifax to Wolfville is very pretty. We will have many stories to tell the children when we return, on the following Monday evening! We have never left our children all home alone while we have gone
to another country before (oh, my!), but the Lord is in control. He has provided this fun chance for me to see what Tim does in his research, and we will enjoy the pretty area together.
