"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." (Proverbs 4:23 NLT)
How do you guard your heart? Well, you choose what influences it each day. When there is no time with God, no inspiration from His word, vague moments of communication and no surrendering to Him, everything else in life will have free reign to influence your heart. You may never be able to see where the hurt and pain comes from but it plays misery on your heart. You won't know how to fix it. So guard your heart. Allow the tender hands of God to mold it and care for it.
